A thousand thanks to all you hardy souls that turned out for the Medway Happenings show on 24th August. We had a thoroughly splendid time and hope that you enjoyed yourselves as much as we did! I don't want to get melodramatic and I'm not gay or anything but we really appreciate all you good people turning out to support us on home turf. We played plenty of gigs to virtually noone back when we were more shit than than we are now to really appreciate a decent attendance. Come to think of it, we still do play the odd gig in front of virtually noone - usually in London! Anyway, the point is, you are all lovely and deserve a big sloppy kiss on the bottom.
All in all, a thoroughly decent day was had. I woke up in the morning and the weather looked like it might piss all over the gig, but the sun came out and all was well. It was really well organised too. Hope we can do the same next year. Always a pleasure to be playing side by side with the Long Weekend of course. They were jolly spiffing as ever. If you're in the Towns on 26th September - come on down to their album launch at the Rochester Queen in Cuxton. It's an LW / LP3 double header. Guaranteed belter!
In the earlier part of the month, we're at the Dirty Water Club with the Masonics before boarding the LP3 longship for the shores of Norway for a bit of Viking style rape and pillage...only without the pillage...or the rape.
